Labor Relations
Our attorneys represent both private and public sector employers, offering counsel in both union and non-union environments. We have handled hundreds of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and state labor relations agency hearings and arbitrations. We help employers implement fair policies for effective management that decrease the need for employees to seek outside union representation.
We assist our clients with legal responses to unions that are organizing campaigns, and we advise with campaign strategies in the event of an election petition filed with the NLRB. We represent employers during unfair labor practice proceedings, representation hearings, strikes, secondary activity, and at negotiations, either with behind the scenes advice or at-the-table bargaining. We also advise on contract interpretation and grievance management and handling.
We work with employers on union election campaign planning and in the negotiation and execution of collective bargaining agreements, contract administration, arbitrations, as well as planning for maintaining or regaining non-union status.
